This lovely resort-like home has a peaceful, relaxing ambience that welcomes all who enter the Feng Shui red front doors.  One is immediately struck by the open space, warm wooden floors and neutral colour scheme which encourages use of colour and theme that may be changed often and easily to reflect the owner's personality and sense of home.

Layout
Currently the layout is in a two bedroom configuration, with a library for reading and relaxing on the day bed, and an office that accommodates two busy people.  This unique design means every room in the house can be used in whatever capacity the residents wish, rooms can be enclosed with dividers or clever use of furniture to become additional bedrooms.

Eco-sustainable
The home is 5-star rated (this was the highest rating available at time of build), and entirely recyclable. The walls, floor and ceiling are of equal tensile strength such that a plasma TV may be mounted at any point.  The walls are also hollow with free flow of air via venturi effect and vented out through the roof-long vent promoting excellent cross-ventilation and fresh air throughout the home.  Heat is trapped within the walls when the fire is lit, maintaining equal warmth throughout.

Distances

Tanglewood is 1hr 15m to Cairns, 5 mins to Malanda, 20 mins to Atherton, 45 mins to Innisfail.  This means you can spend the day diving on the Barrier Reef, go shopping, out to dinner, and home in the evening for a fire in the winter time.
